Valerian Root is a perennial herb that is harvested in its natural environment in India and Western Asia, without pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers. The pungent root has been used since ancient times for restlessness and nervous disturbances in sleep.

Valerian has also been used for stomach pains, and cramps. Valeric Acid has a sedative action, reduces spasms, and is a muscle relaxant.

using a purified form of 125mg. of valerian root 4:1 extract, supplies the equivalent of 500mg of whole valerian root.

Suggested Use: As an addition to the daily diet, adults take 1 or 2 capsules, 2 to 3 times daily with water, or as directed by a health care professional. Use with caution if pregnant or lactating.
