| Spirulina is a single-celled fresh
water algae and an incredible source of nutrients. It provides
generous amounts of Beta-Carotene, Vitamin B12, Iron and
Chlorophyll. Spirulina also provides RNA, DNA and important GLA
fatty acids. What are Green Superfoods and why should I include
them in my diet?
Green Superfoods are a category of phytonutrient-rich nutritional
products derived from green plants, algae and cereal grasses. These
green foods naturally contain high concentrations of chlorophyll and
are harvested seasonally to take advantage of high potencies of
naturally occurring nutrients. Everyone should consume green
superfoods daily. They are an excellent natural source of vitamins,
minerals, amino acids, enzymes, plant sterols and numerous other
nutritional constituents. Plus they’re safe and effective.
What is Blue-Green Algae and how is it processed?
Blue-Green Algae is a nutrient-rich green food that grows
naturally in mineral-rich Klamath Lake in the upper Oregon Cascades.
As with most green foods, it is an excellent source of vitamins,
minerals, trace elements, enzymes, amino acids, and protein (60%
average). It is processed using low heat dehydration and is
carefully screened to ensure the absence of unwanted microbes or
toxins before it is freeze-dried.
