In Europe SAM-e as well as
many herbs are sold as prescription drugs. In Italy SAM-e is a popular
antidepressant and holds 12 percent of the market almost twice that of of the
popular drug Prozac. In Germany SAM-e is prescribed by doctors because of its
potent anti-arthritic properties.
SAM-e a substance found in the body, produced as a derivative from yeast and sold overseas as a treatment for depression and arthritis.
